Teriyaki Chicken

A lady in our ward made this for us after I had picky eater #3. It was the best. The next time I saw her I asked her for the recipe.

Teriyaki Chicken
4 cups soy sauce
2 cups water
3-4 cups sugar (brown or white)
1 bunch chopped green onion or chives
4 cloves minced garlic
Grated ginger root

Mix up all ingredients. Add chicken. Best if soaked overnight. Cook on barbeque, skillet, or oven (if doing in oven brown outside in a skillet).
