Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
- 2 cups chicken, cut up and cooked
- 9 cups water
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 tsp chicken bouillon
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 1/2 cup dried noodles
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup corn
- 2 Tbsp snipped fresh parsley
- In a large stockpot combine all ingredients EXCEPT noodles and parsley. Bring to a boil.
- Add noodles and parsley. Continue boiling 8-12 minutes until noodles are done.
- For an extra kick, sprinkle cayenne pepper on each individual serving. (This is a must if you have a cold.)
